Read some Siglap Secondary School ghost stories online .
Most of them don't sound so scary though .
'Cause after the short chat we had during CO today ,
i was just a little bit curious to find out what ghost stories my school has .
So went to do a little bit of homework on it :x
One of the stories i've read:

Siglap Hidden Truth
1) A first nightmare in Siglap occured during my NPCC camp in 1999. It was held in school. Everything went through normally but on the 2nd nite, something unexpected happened. We, juniors, we waiting for our turns for the ‘Nite Walk’. I wanted to act big so i went out alone. When i was reaching the 3rd floor, i heard a giggle. A very soft but high-pitched giggle. I dismissed it as my imagination. Then i saw it. It was right in front of me. It was like a small child but it was naked and had a very round tummy. It’s teeth were razor-sharp. I was rooted to the ground. I ran down quickly back to the parade square. I was shivering but told nobody coz i knew nobody would believe me. The it was my best friend’s turn. She was at the top floor bridge which links the classroom block to the Office block. My inspector and I saw a woman with long-hair and also a short hairy man behind my friend’s back. We were too shocked to say anything.

2)As all of us NPCC cadets knew that the whole of 3rd floor is haunted. Seniors who stationed for the nite walk had all witnessed something strange there. The Music Room and AVA Theaterette are haunted too. We could hear things moving about, screams and giggles in there, sumtimes even during the afternoon. A group of us(10-13 ppl) heard screams and sumtink being thrown inside the Music room, when we were on the way to the Library. It happened at abt 3 pm!

3)The boys toilet on the Classroom blk level 4 is haunted too. I used to be a prefect and was stationed there during the morning assembley to prevent late-comers to put their bags in the classes. I heard the slamming of the toilet door. As i as not allowed to go into the toilet(I’m A GuRl…), i didn’t do anytink. Then i heard the tap being on. (I could hear it because the students were reading quietly at the parade square) I went inside and saw trails of blood drop on the floor. I was very suprised because boys don have their periods and there were no no blood drops when i first inspected it(i wanted to make sure nobody wanted to escape assembly) Then i saw a bloody woman’s head hanging from the small window. It gave me a sly smile which still gave me the chills. I instantly ran down to the parade square. Then i fainted. Luckily only some students and teachers saw me faint. (It’s so embarrsing to faint in front of everybody).

When Siglap moved to it present location, we brought some antique art pieces along. Some of the art pieces are older than me. Some say the figurines are occupied by wandering spirits. We will never know the truth…


It sounds very unconvincing though. So i dont think i'll believe it .
Lols , besides i won't have any more camp in the school i guess .
Only night classes next year . Found another story about OCH , lols .


Guard at OCH
A security guard has been working at the hospital for many years…and some say HE STILL WORKS THERE EVEN THOUGH the HOSPITAL HAS CLOSED.. My Dad used to work at the hospital before its closure hence i would often visit him there. I could still remember at that time there was a old security guard who works there for many years.

Months before the hospital moves, my dad had a casual chat with that guard (i am presence too) so when they reach the topic about the movement of the hospital, the guard say things like ” I AM VERY SAD… ONCE THE HOSPITAL SHIFTED, I WILL BE OUT OF JOB…. REALLY CAN”T BEAR TO LEAVE THIS PLACE.”

Recently me and a group of friends visited the abandoned hospital at Changi. Things was still smooth when we explore the first and second level. There were 16 of us and sadly to say we only got two torch with us… THings WeNT wRoNg WHeN we Went up to the Third LeVEl…

After Exploring and found nothing we decided to leave … BUt it seems that our torch are getting weak and One was spoilt. We went round and round for 15min ++ but we still can’t find the exit. Some girls in the group started to panicked… To Our Amazed a guard came up the stairs but he was not holding any torch .. it was rather dark and we couldn’t see him clearly. I was among the last few to go down the stairs.

As we reach the ground floor, the girls IN the front STARTED shouting AND RUNING AWAY … we at the back didn’t know wat had happen but to play safe, we ran as well.. After getting to a bus stop down the hill, then the girls said that when thay reach the ground floor, they saw the SECURITY GUARD HAS NO LEGS but only the shoes attached to the pants.

THat night, I was very suspicious as in who that GUY WAS… so i casually ask my dad about him and he reply “HE PASS AWAY LIAO … ” I was shocked and till now i still wonder whether was it him that night who save us from the lost ????

Alot of people has met the security guard too. Go and ask your friends who visited the place…………………………..


Hmm, what security guard ? i didnt see anyone the previous time i went with my ex .
Lols , the place is just deserted and have many broken glass on the floor .
Too bad we dont have a torch :x cause like very scary go up the dark staircase .
So we didnt went up .

Today woke at 9 , went for chinese orchestra self prac .
Mok come to show off his candy sticks to me that he bought . lol .
Then he took one to eat , i think there's 10 inside bah .
Then he ask me if i want , i've never eaten one before .
So of course i took one from him .
But after i took the candy , i dont know how to remove the plastic . Lmao.
Then Mok help me open a bit -.- Lol .

Pactice and practice till like 11.30, it was break time !
Most of them went for their break except me meihui huimin and mok .
I was trying to play the erhu , but kept playing weird sounds .
Then finally try and try can play twinkle little star le!
Mok see i playing he took the erhu from me -.-
Then i go take another one . Sorry to those that left their erhus on the floor!
I just took them up to play . I think , Mok broke one of it .

Lols , but anyway , more practising, den i was kinda bored .
Went around playing other instruments . Still think that mine was easiest .
Lmao , just take 2 sticks hit can le .

After that asked huimin to call jon come learning centre.
Clarence came along too . Then he played dj max 1 .
He looked quite pro . At least better than Mok i think .
Lmao , after that i said lets go to the music room .
So all went there . Then Mok went to play the drum set in the guitar room .
(Hopefully he doesnt get a drum set for his christmas present.) :x

Jon was practising his suona, den clarence come tell me if i want go west plaza.
I say you go ask huimin. If she go then i go . Lols .
Then he faster go ask den since huimin want so i also go .
Asked meihui along too (: Cause she like very quiet .
So just trying to make her feel a little more not left out .

No one asked Mok to go but he go along anyway -.-
Then we walked along a straight road , i say lets cross the road . then point point to the road .
But everyone still continue walk straight . lmaooo .
Clarence down there laughing say,"i thought you say cross the road? why we still walking straight?"
I say, you all dont turn how i turn! lmao .
Cause they were standing nearer to the road , so we were like walking tgt.

I think meihui was walking behind . She should stand beside me la! lol .
then went to buy jon's food first .
Suddenly mok dunno do what, swing his hp den drop on the floor XD
Then he asked,"Can we like go to some other place like, koufu?"
I was like why? He say cause i just dropped my phone and alot ppl are staring at me now . lmao .

So i say you all go first la , i wait for clarence . lol .
Then i ask huimin go with mok :x

Went to 7-11 buy food then went back to music room .
The whole erhu group and yinyin down there listen to jon say story .
Lols, me and co. joined in the small gathering . lmao .
Jon then started talking about ghost stories thing .
About our school, OCH, Red house etc . I've never been to RH.
Wanna go there if possible . lol . been hearing many many stories about it . But have never really went to have a look at this creepy house .

Mok started to unpack his food when, he realised something .
He forgotten to take his spoon ! Lol .
Good thing Jon got dabao also , so he used Jon's spoon when he finished .
After sometime we kept chatting till like 1.55pm, lols.
dont need to practise le , lmao all slackers! :D

Then me Jon and Mok took bus 358, saw meihui at busstop, so sat beside her .
Then we chatted, blahblahblah, the bus came .
On the bus Meihui sat beside me, i sat infront Jon and Mok.
Surprisingly, The juniors board the bus at the next stop . lol .

Bryan went to white sands with me . He said he wanted o buy the santa's hat .
Lmao, while i need to return the library book .
First thing he said when we reaching white sands, i need to go to the toilet .
Lol , i also need, just now drink too much already .
So we both went to the toilet first thing .

Then i come out of toilet, he wasnt there .
So i just went up to 2nd floor while calling him ask where is he .
He say he at 1st floor there, but i didnt see him :x
Erm so yeah, not my fault that he didnt followed me up .
Then he ask me why dowan take lift . I say you want you go take la .
But in the end i had to wait for him at the escalator .

He then pei me go return book, i dropped 2 books at a time cause i didnt know .
Didn't know that it was suppose to drop one by one.
But anyway, i've dropped them, can't stretch my hands in and take mah .
Then we took lift go down, he complained .
Why dowan take escalator ?
I tell him, i thought you like taking lift ! you go down by escalator lor , i meet you there .
Then he say dowan. lmao .

Guys ar, really cant stand him. argh.
Then went to watsons, he bought his hat at only 2.50$ ! Damn cheap .
In the lift he was counting his money , seeing if got enough anot .
Lmao , he's like digging for money, den i ask what if not enough money sial .
He say he got 6$+ ? At first i thought how ex the hat was gonna cost,
but only 2.50$ !

Then he tried the hat at watsons, it looks good on him though . lol .
I bet he's gonna wear it to the party tmr .
Lmao . Anyway, when going up the escalator saw emily !
Long time no seeeeee . ;D

Then her facial expression was like, eh?! :O
Quite shocked to see me .
Crap. Then we took 17 back home .

On the bus, we chat about primary school stuffs .
Lol , many memories, "weird" ones .
Then he reached his stop, when he got off, surprisingly,
he looked back into the bus and waved bye to me, for once, i think he's normal .

Speaking of adelene ! She was still sleeping when i was on the way to school tdy!

The next stop after Mok was mine, surprised to see my juniors! again!
Lmao, so qiao, took the same bus there and back home .
Cause they were upstairs the bus, so didnt saw them .

Then said bye to them and went home .
I hadnt eaten anythin since ysd night !
But still told my mother i eat le cause didnt want her to gimme money .
Hope that she pays finish my brother's 300$ bill first .

The cowboy

Today woke up at around 10 plus, cause the room is too bright , and thats because i forgotten to pull the curtain to cover the sunlight -.-
Then woke up just to cover it so i can slp back again :x

Ahaha , after i went back to sleep had this weird dream that i was actually sleepig in the toilet =.=|| wth huh ?

Oh man, I thought today was gonna have self prac .
But in the end don't have , is next week .
I'm like so bored staying at home , really wanna go out .

Laughed a lot today , because of many reasons .
Today woked up , because i hit my head on the wall .
Laughed at myself , weird huh ?
Then watched tv , it started raining , had to go buy dinner for bro .
Mummy gave me 10$ so i thought i'd buy each of us a bubbletea too .

Bathed , and went to Loyang Point .
Bought two packet of "shao rou fan", the uncle took a long time can .
Then went downstairs bought bubbletea for bro mum & me .
When walked outside , knn , never rain liao -.-
Should've gone later , cause the umbrella is super extra .

When reached the lift , go in press my floor number .

Winning Means Giving It All

As I approached the final mile of the race I realized there were only three opponents left. Obstacles standing between my goal and me.....the finish line.

As I reached the first opponent, I closed my eyes and heard this message: "You only fail if you fail to try." I peddled with all my might and took his place. One down, two to go.

As I neared number two I once again closed my eyes. Knowing this one would be harder, I searched for strength. Not only was I more tired than before, but this opponent was the second strongest. Suddenly I heard the voice from within: "You only see the obstacle when you take your mind off the goal." I visualized the finish line and continued to push my body to it's limit and took position number two.

My last opponent, my last obstacle was in first place for a reason. He symbolized every goal that I hoped to achieve. Knowing this would be the toughest moment of the race, I again closed my eyes. This time I waited for the message. But it didn't come. As the fear rose from inside I realized it was up to me, not this voice, to win the race. With that in mind, I opened my eyes and it hit me.

On the back of my opponent's shirt was the message. It read, "If you can read this........I'm winning!!!"

Then with every ounce of energy in my body and soul, I peddled and fought the toughest battle of my life. As I crossed the finish line, I realized that first place means nothing if you haven't given 150%. There is always someone out there who is a little faster or a little stronger, but the real champion is the one who reaches the finish line with nothing more to give.

Early morning go out with family to E!hub, den go downtown walk walk .
Ate brunch, then went walking around wild wild wet there .
Saw some small boys peeing at the side of the drain lor.
EWW HUH . What an obscene . The toilets are just like nearby ?!?!
After that we went to beach ! :D
Woohoo , its windy and sunny at the same time so okok la .
After that i flew a kite , had to run and run before it fly up in the sky .
Phew, dam tiring one can !

After i've had my fun, it was like 3plus le , my family tired . ):

Had "late lunch/2nd round" with my ahjie at Bento Box (Jurong Point)
Far huhs ! i ordered chawanmushi :) But....
It wasn't that great. Quite standard la. hmmm.
& also an ice lemon tea. Erm, it's too sour and sweet. LOL :X

Then i ordered pasta with ham and mushroom too ! Quite substandard though..
& yes, you may say that if i go to a restaurant specialising in bento boxes,
Of course the other food selling there wont be that nice la.
But ar, we must be all rounded right? XD Hahaha.

Then my jie ordered seafood ramen :) I guess it's edible la huh.
Cause i dont really like seafood though, so yeah ....
Plus the seafood isnt that fresh & the mussels felt like those frozen type =.=

Ohoh, and when i was ordering my food right,
I asked the counter lady: "What do you recommend?"
Counter lady asked: "you want rice or noodle?"
I was like thinking in my mind "-.-, you ask me like that, how do i answer?"
I mean, i expect you to tell me the range of food what.
Easier for me to make my decision also luhs.
So in the end, i just looked at the menu and randomly picked a dish =.=
& that's the chawanmushi i ordered @ $4.50 .

Woooo, den we had dessert at Anderson's!
Hot waffle w/ belgium chocolate chip , YUMMMMYYY !
But it was $9.90 T.T dam expensive can D:
Then it was like 6+ going 7 when we finished having our dessert .
Went shopping , my sis bought alot laaaa . I didnt buy that much :x

Then when going home that time , Bought cheese and tiramisu cake at starbucks ! :D
I had it during my bdae , long time no eat le . Mmmmmm .

As you can see, we did little shopping . Lols.
& This is the first time that i ate so much in my life !

One day while I was shopping with my mother, we were walking past a store with a big front window. In this window there was a little boy, just standing there looking back at me. He had a black eye and bruised cheek. And the look in his eyes was so sad. They were filled with so much pain and sadness that just looking into them brought tears to my eyes. And I turned away.

Some years later, while walking past the store again, I saw that same little boy. He had grown some but it was apparant that it was the same boy. He still had bruised cheeks and his nose was taped up from being broken. In his eyes I could still see all his pain, his lonliness, his sadness. Once again it brought tears to my eyes, and once again I turned away.

In my teenage years, I walked past the store again. And again the boy was there. He had grown into a tall young man. No bruises on his face this time. But his eyes had changed. They hadn't lost their sadness or their pain or lonliness, but they had taken on a hard edge. Looking into his eyes this time scared me. This time I not only turned away but I walked faster than I had before because I couldn't bear to see this boy's eyes anymore.

Since I've grown up, I haven't gone back to that store. Maybe because I'm afraid to see the man that boy has become. I was going to go once, but I decided I didn't need that in my life at this point. I mean what is he to me anyway? I don't need it. My life is happy.

Yesterday, I was in my house and I just happened to walk by a mirror. The strangest thing happened. That boy from the window, he was a man now, and he was in that mirror staring back at me. His eyes don't have that hard look to them anymore and he actually looked happy now.

When I think back to the little boy in the window, staring into his eyes, into my eyes, I can't believe I was ever that sad. And I can't believe that his eyes, my eyes, scared me so bad that I couldn't bear to look.

It shows me that anyone's life can change for the better. If that little sad boy, who turned into a hard angry teenage boy, can change into the happy man I saw yesterday... then anyone can change for the better, given the right circumstances.
